Our Story

There are plenty of big companies around here building multi-million dollar homes and a lot of handyman services for little things, so we wanted to fill the gap in between.

My husband and I both have experience in a variety of fields. Thomas was an electrician and I was a park ranger when we began helping people with home projects on our days off. People often told us how difficult it was to find reliable help.

We heard too many stories about people paying for shoddy work, or builders leaving projects halfway through a job. Pretty soon, we had enough people wanting help that our forty-hour work-week schedules were getting in the way. My husband got his contractor’s license and created a legitimate business. We left our traditional careers behind and never looked back. We changed the business name twice before Raztech, went through a roller-coaster of learning curves, but we’ve been so lucky to have the most wonderful clients.

We have gotten to know some of the coolest people and be part of a transformative process in their lives. It is very fulfilling work and we both love the dynamic aspects and challenges it presents.
